The company also produces a full range of Hooklift Compaction Containers. Standard sizes for these range from 26 cu yd to 40 cu yd and are again based on the design criteria laid down in the CHEM standards. The example shown below is a 35 cuyd standard.
The conventional design of the compaction container is built using channel ribs which cradle the floor, side and roof of the container. The specification of plate thickness may vary according to the application and duty of the container. The company can produce Compaction Containers to suit special requirements.
Rear doors can be designed and manufactured to suit any type of Compaction unit, the door locking mechanisms are designed for strength and ease of operation and are always fitted with secondary safety locking devices. The company also manufactures a range of Smoothsided Compaction Containers. Standard sizes are 30 cu yd, 35 cu yd and 40 cu yd. A 35 cu yd example of these can be seen below.
The curved shape gives strength to the container along with the double skin of the overlapped side plates. The shape and double taper of the body makes this the ideal container for emptying compressive loads such as cardboard and other packaging materials. Another advantage of this type of container is the large area available for advertising. Skip Lift Compaction Containers are also available, these are simply compaction containers for use with skip lift vehicles. Standard sizes for these are 14 cu yd (shown below) and 16 cu yd.
