Sellers manufacture a complete range of skips to suit all applications. Standard sizes range from 2 cu yd to 22 cu yd and are based on the design criteria laid down in the CHEM standards. Skips are available in three standard shapes :-
A range of skips featuring hinged loading doors (shown below left) are available in 4 cu yd to 10 cu yd capacities. The loading door is always fitted with secondary locking pins for safety.
Enclosed skips are available using either plastic (shown above right) or steel lids. The lids can be sealed by fitting neoprene rubber and clamps to suit various applications.
REL skips, for use with rear end loading vehicles, are available from 6 cu yd to 16 cu yd capacities. The REL can be an open container (below left), or a fully enclosed container with a choice of plastic lids (below right), steel lids or PVC sheet. Sellers REL's are fitted with underfloor channels, safety stabilisers, skip lifting lugs and skip tipping bars as standard. For the enclosed REL, robust rear loading doors are fitted with spring bolts and padlock lugs. Lid opening handles are held in brackets on the container side. The front tipping arrangement is available in three options: Fixed, Retractable or Loose pins depending on the customers preference.
The 8 cu yd Side Hinged FEL is the company's top selling container for Front End Loader vehicles and is protected by patent in the UK and in other European countries. The design incorporates two plastic lids which are hinged on opposite sides of the container, and a steel top lid which is hinged along the top edge of the container. The plastic lids are held in the open position for loading by steel pins inserted through steel plates. The advantages of the side hinged FEL are:
The side hinged FEL is also available in 4.5 cu yd and 6 cu yd capacities. Top Hinged FEL containers with a range of capacities from 4 cu yd to 10 cu yd are available with the option of a skip tipping bar for use on skip loader vehicles Skip lifting lugs and underfloor pockets are fitted as standard. A 2 cu yd FEL is also available. The image below left shows a 6 cu yd Top Hinged FEL container featuring double plastic lids used for loading and emptying. The 10 cu yd FEL (below right) features plastic sliding doors for loading and top hinged plastic lids for emptying.
